Final Report: The President’s Commission on Model State Drug Laws – Executive Summary - This publication offers an overview of the President’s Commission on Model State Drug Laws, the process of developing the model laws, and the summarized highlights of the 44 model state drug laws and recommendations offered to state legislatures by the President’s Commission.

Socioeconomic Evaluations of Addictions Treatment - Researchers at the Center of Alcohol Studies, Rutgers University were contracted in May 1992 by the President’s Commission on Model State Drug Laws to review the existing scientific literature on socioeconomic evaluations (methods which enumerate the costs and consequences) of untreated addictions and addictions treatment. This publication presents the findings.
