CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS):

International Narcotics Control Strategy Report:  

The 2012 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report (INCSR) is an annual report by the Department of State to Congress prepared in accordance with the Foreign Assistance Act. It describes the efforts of key countries to attack all aspects of the international drug trade in Calendar Year 2011. Volume I covers drug and chemical control activities. Monitoring the Future:

A continuing study of American youth. Monitoring the Future is an ongoing study of the behaviors, attitudes, and values of American secondary school students, college students and young adults. Each year, a total of approximately 50,000 8th, 10th and 12th grade students are surveyed (12th graders since 1975 and 8th and 10th graders since 1991). http://www.monitoringthefuture.org

 

Partnership for Drug-free Kids, The Medicine Abuse Project:

In its second year, the Medicine Abuse Project aims to prevent half a million teens from abusing prescription drugs and over-the-counter medicine by 2017. The campaign encourages parents, stakeholders and the public to take action: first, by talking with their kids about the dangers of abusing prescription and over-the-counter medicines; and second, by safeguarding and properly disposing of unused medications. http://medicineabuseproject.org/
